Newport Realty was formed in 1979 by a group of highly-motivated real estate professionals. We believe that superior service encourages customers to return willingly for that service, and to share their experience with others. We recruit and develop the best individuals in our industry. We are required to represent the buyer's and seller's best interest, and to fully disclose all pertinent information to the seller and buyer.

We also owe a duty to act fairly and honestly with all parties to a transaction.

We endeavour to provide valuable information and services to purchasers. It is our goal to treat our customers so well that one day they will become our clients and recommend us to others.

With your approval, here are some of the steps that will be taken to assist you in the purchase of a residential property:

Establish your requirements and expectations with the purchase of a residential property.Provide knowledgeable information on financing alternatives and assist in obtaining mortgage financing, if required.Provide up-to-date information on market activity. Provide information on homes in your price range, and arrange personal showings of properties of interest. Provide information on municipal services, zoning, permit requirements, and other land use issues. Provide information on insurance requirements, closing costs and procedures, taxes, utility costs. Provide a "Property Condition Disclosure Statement" on a home so that you have complete information about its condition and "latent defects". Prepare a contract of Purchase and Sale and present this "offer" to the seller. Communicate between you and the seller with offers, monitor closing, and track time deadlines. Provide information on services which complement your purchase: Appraisal, home inspection services, legal, contractors, permits, etc.
